Joel has been with the agency since April 1, 1980. He follows in the family tradition of his grandfather and father by being a third generation agent and partner.

His area of expertise is Employee Benefits, including Group Medical Insurance, Pensions and Life Insurance.

Joel is currently one of 3 three (ABC) Associated Builders and Contractors Association Agents in Wisconsin with a territory covering Madison to the Upper Peninsula.

Joel is married to Barbara Sterk and has 3 grown sons, a daughter-in-law Brette, and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time he likes to golf or snowmobile depending on the season.

Joel is pleased that his son Jordan and daughter-in-law Brette are also following in the family tradition of working at the agency.

John has been in the insurance industry since 1990.   John moved to Waupun in 1992 and has been with SIA Insurance Services since that time.

He specializes in both Personal and Commercial lines of business.

John is married to Ann and has three children.  In his spare time he likes to golf, coach, and spend time with family.

Pete is a 1971 graduate of UW-Stevens Point.  He started his insurance career as an underwriter with Sentry Insurance in 1972, and then moved on to Ohio Casualty as an underwriter and marketing representative in 1976.  He called on the Sterk Insurance Agency as their marketing representative for five years, before being asked to join the agency in 1989, as a partner and commercial lines specialist.  He is happy to have made the decision to join the agency and make Waupun his home.

Pete is married to Kay Hansen (the Librarian) and has two men (Dave and Mike), one woman (Lisa) and five grandchildren.  He is pleased that his son Mike has joined SIA and enjoys sharing his experiences with him. 

Pete has been on numerous boards and committees over the years and is currently active in the Waupun Rotary Club, the Board of Education at Pella Lutheran Church and the Board of Directors at The National Bank of Waupun.

In his spare time, he enjoys sports, trips to northern WI and listening to exciting golf stories, as told by partners John and Joel.

After graduating from UW-Milwaukee with a dual-option BBA, Mike joined Wausau Insurance as an Employee Benefits Consultant in 1977 out of their Kansas City Office.  He then became a Regional Sales Manager for the Ohio Casualty Group and was named "Man of the Year" in 1983.  Mike joined SIA in 1991 and handles all lines of insurance out of SIA's Jackson office.

Mike has a keen appreciation of the required skill-set of small business owners  after many years of insuring them.

Away from the office, Mike and his wife, Patty, enjoy spending time with their three children. Something you might not know about Mike is that he thinks of himself as a "Yooper" and has family which lives on Lake Superior shores.

Brette has been with SIA since January of 2007. She services all group and individual health insurance accounts, but specializes in selling individual health plans for all ages including disabled and Medicare eligible individuals.

Brette is Vice President of the Active Adult Resource Council of Dodge County that is best known for their annual Senior Expo event. She is also heavily involved with the annual Waupun Chamber Golf Outing planning committee.

What she enjoys most about her job is helping clients better understand their insurance coverage as well as finding them the best price! Brette enjoys building relationships with the many clients she works with every year.

Outside of the office, Brette enjoys singing and leading worship at her church in Fox Lake. She is a 3rd grade GEMS counselor in Waupun. She likes to figure out how things work and takes pride in some of her home made inventions. She loves movies, trying new foods, dancing, and taking trips with her husband, Sam, and two young daughters Myla and Sydney. 

Jon has been with SIA since June 2007. His areas of expertise are all types of investments, 401k plans, prevailing wage plans and life insurance.

Jon currently works closely with Associated Builders and Contractors, helping to reduce costs on prevailing wage and Davis-Bacon jobs in Wisconsin.

Outside of work Jon enjoys playing in city league volleyball and softball tournaments; he is an avid Wisconsin sports fan, and also enjoys working with local youth. Jon currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Waupun Chamber of Commerce, is heavily involved with Kiwanis, the Union Youth Center, and First Christian Reformed Church's Youth Group.

Jon is married to Kim and has a son, Ryker.

Mike has been with SIA since July 2007.  He specializes in Commercial P&C Insurance and Workers Compensation. 

He enjoys working with his clients to make sure that they have the proper coverage, allowing them to focus on their business.

Mike and his wife Kristin live in Columbus with their two children, Carter and Lauren.  He is an active member of the Columbus Kiwanis Club and the Columbus Fire Department.

Sara has been with SIA since October of 2008. She is licensed in Property and Casualty, working primarily in Personal Lines.

Sara reduced her hours in 2012 to part-time in order to spend more time at home with her baby boy. What Sara enjoys most about her job at SIA is the personal relationships she is able to enjoy with both the customers and her co-workers.

Sara is originally from MN but moved to the area after graduating from Trinity Christian College.  In her spare time, Sara loves to be outside biking or walking with her husband, Mike and son Isaiah, reading, or enjoying time with family and friends.

Jordan has been with SIA since July 2009. He specializes in Homeowner's, Automobile, and Medicare Insurance plans.  

What Jordan enjoys most about his job is interacting with people on a daily basis.

In his spare time, he enjoys going to Brewer games, fishing, and spending time with his fiance Lindsay. He is also a member of the Waupun Lions club.

Jordan grew up in Waupun, and is a fourth generation agent of SIA Insurance Services.

Patricia (Pat) Ellie has been with SIA since December 2008.  She specializes in Health Insurance especially Medicare Supplements and Medicare Advantage Plans.  Pat is also licensed for Life, Property, and Casualty.   Pat enjoys meeting her prospective clients and getting to know them on a personal level. 

In her spare time Pat likes to fish, camp and garden (flowers and vegetables).  She is involved in the Markesan Chamber as Secretary and enjoys her membership in the Princeton Garden Club.  She grew up in middle Wisconsin and moved to Milwaukee as a child. Pat is married to Dale Ellie and has lived in the Green Lake Area since 2004.  Pat and Dale have two married children and two grandchildren.

Jessica has been with SIA since November of 2010, but has been working in the insurance industry since 2008. She is licensed in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health, but works mainly in personal lines. In December of 2011, she received the Certified Insurance Services Representative (CISR) designation from the PIA of Wisconsin.

Her favorite part of working at SIA is having the opportunity get to know customers individually in order provide the best customer service available. In her free time, Jessica enjoys doing Zumba Fitness and playing volleyball.

Dan has been with SIA since November 2007. He handles Commercial and Personal Lines.

What he enjoys most about his job is the interaction with good people and the chance to help protect their assets.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys outdoor activities. He is also involved in youth sports programs in the Fox Valley Area.

Dan grew up in Green Bay, WI. He is married to Deborah and has 2 children.
